Understand: Flower Care - Why Are My Flowers Dying?

I can’t tell you how often I have had someone tell me how much they love flowers but can’t bear to get them because but they’re just too fragile and don’t last more than two days in the hot tropical weather of Singapore. Or you might have tried some of our tips and still aren’t getting as long a vase life as you would like.

This could happen because of a whole myriad of factors. Sometimes it is due to the environment, other times it could be a source issue (I will expound on that later). It could even be utilising our tips (or others’) in a sub-optimal way. And that’s not at all your fault if you are not sure of what you are trying to achieve with those tips and how it all works.

Ranunculus, rose spray, carnations, clematis seed, wax flower, eucalyptus, blue pea vine

I’d love to share some key principles to help you better understand the rationale for our top tips, and even formulate your own approach to flower care that is better catered to your particular conditions.

Message us “LEARNWHY” on our Chat (yes, that little speech bubble in the bottom right hand corner) and we’ll happily unload these fundamentals on your lap! You’ll soon be that person whose flowers seem to go on for ever!

I'm looking forward to hearing how just understanding these few fundamentals has helped you keep your flowers happier! Leave us a note if it has, or drop us any questions you have below and we'll try to answer you as best we can.

Or if you're a more hands-on, visual learner and would prefer for us to show you have it all works, come for a workshop! We cover all this and more. We love keeping those flowers alive for as long as possible!
